Hi Chris and all, Yes our Doug Hoadley has had a new hip. He is fine and recovering at home with two private nurses looking after him, his wife Jo and her sister! Both top notch nurses! He said he felt like he was in a private hospital for after her shift, just after his opp, (for which he insisted his sister in law was the theatre nurse), Jo came to see him and looked after him!
Hope to have him up and afloat by the end of the year, not in his WW but with me maybe!
Cheers,
John

Can you just imagine sailing along on a boat with John & Doug
I see it as a sort of a floating version of "last of the summer wine"
