Do the members think it would be useful for this site to have a page or several listing the names (and sail-numbers) of MG boats owned by members?
The reason I ask is that I have now bought an eventide but have yet to name it and a list would ensure that I do not give it the same name as someone else has.

Just found your post... sorry we have had problems...
I would say it is great to be unique, but if you like the name, no rules or laws say you cannot have it. The only exception would be if you wanted Lloyds Full Registration, then it might have the be II or V or the like! I know there are a few 'Fiddler's Green's' out there!
There are a lot of names listed on the Gallery.. but if you send in a name to us by e-mail we can check it against the list we have on record. the Data protection act prevents us publishing much more than we do.
