Hello there?

What size Stuart do you have in it at the moment? I can imagine it could be either a 4 or an 8 (5 or 10)! The little single was only just man enough in a calm and I would have thought an 8 or 9 hp replacement would be the most suitable, depending on how much room you have without magor alterations....

The Petter mini 6 was a popular motor too. Just about man enough.

The Beta twin, about 10 to 12 hp is the smallest in that range, but perhaps a little large.. you might need to look to a single Yanmar, GM10 or similar light, and 9hp. that would fit the bill.

The days of 4 hp motors and a sweep are long gone! Sadly. Creeks full of moorings and tides, deadlines to beat, mean a more powerful motor these days.. However no point going over about 9hp.... It will not go faster...

hope this helps, why not send us a pic of you boat and even join us!?
