Any help with info on a steel Waterwitch

Post by ADTYTLER »

Have been looking on the web, to find info on a yacht im about to buy.
and found this web site, thought i would drop you a topic and see what pops up.
Im looking at buying a Waterwitch yacht that was built in Glasgow in 1967.
36' LOA, steel, was ketch riged.
Thats all the info i have of when it was built.
Since then its been sailed to New Zealand, on the way(in Fiji) the then
owner, add 3 feet to the back of it and put on a aft cabin.
Was sailed to NZ after that, and sold on... how many times i don't know
But since then the aft cabin has been removed, some nice seating put in
and a cockpit add and sloop riged. All and all it not to bad.
Was hopping you could help me got some info on the early part of its life.
The build number and name are unknowen.
Any help would be great
any one know how many WW were built in 1967 in Glasgow

Hello Alistair,

Will be posting a picture on the WW gallery pages shortly, good luck trying to find out more.

Name of boat, a sail number, former owners names or hints of former boat names etc will help.

Regards,
John
