crazy eventide outboard

Hi all, just wondering if any of you good people may have any info on a 1986 longshaft Yamaha 30 hp 2 stroke outboard? Got one on my shabby looking Eventide 24 and its a no goer and it needs to go to I can get my boat to the pontoon so I can start scrubbing off the old tired paint. Also, does anyone know George Norridge? Cheers
