Hello to all. Having recently purchased GH 31 number 176, I have a couple of quick questions (though I'm sure there'll be more in due course!). Firstly, can anyone advise what the set-up is at the lowest pintle (rudder) of a GH 31? The boat's presently afloat so I can't take a look but I've clearly got play down there and would like to prepare for repairs prior to having her lifted out. Is it just some sort of bush that the pintle goes into? Any advice would be very welcome.
Second question - does anyone know of any history for GH 31 number 176? The previous owner lost their history file so was unable to help. She's presently called 'Lady Sefton' but I suspect this is just the latest of many names! Any info would be very welcome.
