Hi Everyone!

Just signed up. Hi to all here and I'm looking forward to learning more about the YM range. I'm particularly interested in Alan Buchanan's YM 3 tonner. I've been looking at an old timer on eBay. She's a 1957 built 20 footer lying in a mud berth on the east coast not too far from London - too far for me to travel just for a look as I live near Bristol on the west coast.
Having gone through just about everything I can find on the Web about this design, I have decided I would prefer to build a new one myself in my back yard. You know how it goes: you look at a boat and then begin to feel you might be able to do better yourself? Besides, what else can I do with all that Brazilian mahogany, teak, iroko, cedar, larch, elm, etcetera, that I've been hoarding for years! The original shed - it was my workshop once - is now stacked to the gunwales with very expensive and very heavy timber. Smells nice though!
Does anyone know where I might lay my hands on a set of the original drawings, or copies of same? I am more than happy to pay for them.
Best wishes
MikeA
