Tufnal Halyard winches

Post by TIDEWATER »

Does anyone know what make the halyard winches that look to be made of tufnal are?
I have lost a barrel off one of my halyard winches on an MG Tidewater. She has a old gold anodised mast from about 1970 so that might help you guess the type of halyard winch, I guess there werent so many makes being used then?

Has anyone got any idea where I would get a new or second hand barrel? The spindle, pawls and springs are still there, so its just a barrel I need.

Many thanks
Paul
