Rob, sorry for the late reply. For what it is worth here are my thoughts. The centre of lateral resistance, clr, isn't marked on the plans. There will be a small lead of the centre of effort, coe, of the sail plan over the clr. If you work out the coe of the existing rig then the new rig would have ...

I can't help with the Golden Hind, but if it helps the mast on the Sloop rigged Waterwitch is 1ft futher aft than on the Ketch rigged boat, 13ft aft of the stem for the sloop as opposed to 12ft aft on the Ketch. It might be simmilar on the GH.
