thanks. I am no longer going ahead with this one. Just for the record the best estimates and a look at the old drawings indicated 4 to 5 tons. Quite a lot of water could easily put her at over 5. A big Hiab will lift that weight but it is far too much to tow behind a landrover so she needs to go on ...

What's the weight of a Cockler?
I am trying to organise the road transport of a Cockler for restoration. The weight of the vessel is a bit of an issue with the hauliers and I don't know what it is. Does anyone know or is able to look up the designed displacement of a 25' Cockler? Data for a similar vessel like a Bawley would be us...
